Moms BDAY

I just got back from a 20 mile bicycle ride with my buddy George and have been riding a lot lately. I am looking into joining the USCF again. I raced a lot when I was younger and cycling has always been a passion of mine. Mostly mountain biking over the past 6 years, but it's great to get back on the road bike.

Now we are all here celebrating my moms birthday with the family. Unbelievable how fast time flies. My parents have always been more like best friends than parents and we are so lucky to have my mom as part of the business although retiring and taking on a lot less lately. Looking forward to a great outdoor wedding in East Haddam Connecticut tomorrow. It will be a nice country setting which is a welcomed change of pace.

It's been a crazy few weeks here as usual. TogetherInStyle.com is officially live although there are a few last minute segments that got filmed this week which are going to be fantastic. Jennifer interviewed Preston Bailey on the topic of Ceremonies and David Tutera created the most stunning bouquets imaginable which will become a special feature. David also did a film segment on tabletops and centerpieces which will go live this week. Top that off with some stunning feature weddings that go live this week from all over the world, and the site is complete. Of course there will be ongoing updates and improvements, but there is nothing like Together In Style online. It is the most sophisticated website I have ever seen.

Saturday was especially great as I photographed a wonderful wedding at Cipriani 42nd Street in Manhattan and Jennifer captured the photographs at writer Tom Clancy's birthday bash on a battleship in New Jersey. We both got home to Connecticut around 5am as the sun was coming up. I find it funny sometimes when couples think of photography as a simple 10 hour day. Every 10 hour assignment is actually 14-16 hours from start to finish. Thank goodness we LOVE our jobs...
