If you don't already have a personal wedding website, there is a whole new way to get one that is stunningly beautiful to look at. www.TogetherInStyle.com has teamed up with Wedding Window, the leader in personal wedding websites, and through that partnership, Maring has made some of our most beautiful personal photographs available exclusively to them. As many of you know, this is where Jennifer's blog is located, and where we share expert advice through the eyes of the world's experts via television shows about planning a wedding of distinction. Voted as the most visually stunning website on the web, we are proud to be sharing our photographs and our name with these wonderful companies.

You might wonder, "why should I have a wedding website?" There are a lot of reasons. Number one, it's personal. Beyond that, it allows you to have centralized place that you can inform guests about your wedding day with things like; where to park at the ceremony, dress code, the menu, directions, your registry etc... But it also makes sense because it give you a place to share tidbits about your relationship, share photos of adventures, and much more.

The best part is that Together In Style, and Wedding Window make it easy to pick custom color schemes, update information, and most of all have a gorgeous site filled with Maring's world class quality photography. Check it out, we are sure you will be impressed. Simply go to www.togetherinstyle.com and click on the tab that says "Your Wedding Website."

Honeymoon Documentary

Destination weddings and honeymoons are incredibly romantic. Yet, I rarely see use of video that shares how it feels to be in the moment and the vibe of such an incredible experience. Recently while on on assignment for Curtain Bluff, a stunning five star resort in Antigua, we had an opportunity to capture just a few brief moments of a couple on their honeymoon. Blending those quick moments with the sights, sounds, and nature of such an amazing location unveiled a new way of creating a video that would be wonderful to watch over and over again on your high definition television. It is somewhat of a nature documentary with a touch of romance that personalizes the film. With video, sometimes less focus on the people and more on the experience can yield a motion picture experience that you would enjoy watching over and over. It's your vacation after all, so enjoy reliving the beauty of what you saw, what you heard, and what you felt as a unique chapter on the DVD separate from the one that is focused on the two of you. Unfortunately, the clarity won't show due to the video compression rate, but you'll get the idea when you watch... Check it out.

Denver Speaking Engagement

I wanted to shout out a special thanks to ISES (International Special Event Society), for having me speak in Denver this week as part of the Wedding Dream Team. The Denver show took place at the new Ritz Carlton, which was gorgeous. The event sold out with more members attending than ever before, and the stage and decor was stunning. Thank you so much to everyone for attending to hear us speak.

It was very humbling experience to have photographers come up to me saying that I had changed their entire careers and lives when they saw us speak years ago. We have gained quite
a following, but I never know what to say in those situations except that we are in love with what we do.

The truth is, that we have our trials and tribulations. We takes educated risks and are very lucky that we have found our way to a successful business. No one really knows what is going to be a great idea and what won't. We simply follow our gut and listen to our hearts. Sometimes great things come out of it. Other times we fail. But I've always believed that the great times are only great because you struggle at others. Most of all we are good at listening to our clients and trying to find ways that create win/win situations.

Special thanks to Frances Marron of Frances Photography in Denver for sending me some great photographs of the speaking engagement. Man, I have got to get back to Colorado. I lived there for a couple of years and just to be there for a day and see snow on the mountains while it is 90 degrees outside is mind blowing. Thank you again ISES, I had a great time!

Destination Wedding

This wedding couple were such great sports... They had a private destination wedding at Curtain Bluff in Antigua and we caught up with them on a sailing trip and offered to take some photographs for them. We had a great time, and the couple did as well. These are some fantastically fun loving photographs on the beach that their suite overlooked. It doesn't get any more memorable than this! After the dress is worn, you might as well have fun in it, and they did just that. Love it! Now I am in the airport about to catch a plane to Denver, Colorado to give a speech at the Ritz Carlton to event planners and designers on how to find the best photographers and other vendors possible for a wedding whether it be close to home or in a far off destination.

Antigua Assignment

Jennifer and I returned from assignment in Antigua. We spent a week photographing the Island, but most of all, the most luxurious resort on the Island, Curtain Bluff. It was such a creative week as photo filmed in high definition motion picture the sights, sounds, and nature of this incredible place for their commercial and public relations departments.

Along the way, we also had some great interaction with people from all over the world. So we also spent the week photographing honeymooners and a wedding couple, which added to the excitement of the week. We are so busy after getting back, that it's been tough to find a moment to add to the blog, but I wanted to share this photograph that caught my eye and heart the moment I captured it. Ahhh to be a kid again... I'll be posting some more by the end of the week because there is so much great footage and photographs to share.
