Independance Day

Happy Independence Day everyone. Like many Americans, we will relax and enjoy with our families today, bar-b-que outdoors, and play a little acoustic guitar with some friends.

America is facing some tough times right now in regards to the economy and we certainly haven't seen the worst of it yet. We have our problems here, and by no means has America been perfect from 1776 until 2008. In fact, there has been some pretty weird decisions made on the part of Americans and their political leaders over the years.

But as tough as times can get, and as strange as some things can be, America evolves and seems to eventually overcome and realize it's mistakes. We grow stronger through adversity and conflict and no matter how you look at life in America, we are lucky to live here. If we lost everything we have earned tomorrow it wouldn't be a disaster because we live in a place where you can start over with nothing and rise to the top again and again. We are free to think, live, and be most anything we want.

Today, we honor the ideals of the American dream, we honor the soldiers that work hard and risk their lives for all of us, and we spend time with our loved ones to celebrate life in America. A place that we are proud and lucky to call home.

Movie Night In The Orchard

Special thanks to all our friends and clients who joined us for our first "Movie Night In The Orchard". We lucked out as the weather was perfect. We had over 50 people join us and it was great that all the kids came as well. We all work way too hard and have the best of intentions of getting together. But times certainly flies..

In an effort to bring people together and enjoy the summer nights, we thought this would be a fun idea to have an outdoor movie night. But, then we realized that many of us work so hard that we don't even get enough time to spend with our families either. So, we thought that a night that celebrated family and allowed everyone to be together made the most sense.

Last night we showed E.T. and many commented how it brought back so many youthful memories. Jennifer and I very much enjoyed everyones company and loved seeing all the kids enjoying the movie and the outdoors. We hope to continue this a few times throughout the summer and hope to see you all at the next movie!
